SOFADECCA has a huge budget to meet, most of the times we are not able to meet our obligations due to financial constraints, funds raised from our investments are barely enough to keep our activities running. As we all know equipment needed for relief and rescue when disaster strikes are very costly. We do appeal for any form of assistance whether financial or material.
The funds and other forms of support can be channelled through the office of the Secretary General, Post Bank House 13th Floor, Nairobi.
Kenya, as any other third world and developing countries, has had its own share of disasters and emergency situations ranging from the 1998 Twin Bombing of USA Embassy in Kenya and Tanzania, Bombolulu Girls Inferno, Kyanguli Boys High School Inferno, Collapse of the Kihonge Building in Nairobi’s Ronald Ngala Street, Flower Farms Fires in Naivasha, Estates ravaged by fierce fires bringing down buildings thereby causing great damage and loss to property and lives.
